Wildlife Emergency

For wildlife emergencies, please contact us immediately!
* DO NOT rescue wildlife and then kidnap the animal to care for it or keep it for a possible pet. Pakistan federal laws protect all wild native mammals and birds. They might be cute, but they belong in the wild. It is also against the law to possess trafficked exotic animals. High fines and possible jail time are often given. We receive many irreparably damaged birds and animals because the rescuer tried to keep it as a pet and did not know how to provide for it properly.
* DO NOT handle the animal yourself, just keep an eye on its environment and observe its behavior.  Do not feed the animal food, water, or milk. This could actually be fatal to them! Dietary needs of each species of animal are different and need to be prescribed and monitored by trained specialists.
* DO NOT drop off an animal without touching base with us first. We need to make sure that we are prepared and able for intakes. Do not hesitate to alert us if you know of any trafficked or endangered animals that are kept captive in Islamabad.
