Second Chance Wildlife Announces
Conclusion of Partnership with Islamabad Wildlife Management Board
Second Chance Wildlife announced the end of their partnership with the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (‘IWMB’), which has been in place since November 2023. Over the past six months the collaboration has yielded several significant outcomes, even as both organizations faced challenges in aligning their long-term strategic goals.
Since the beginning of the partnership, Second Chance Wildlife worked to establish governance protocols in line with international wildlife standards and provide a platform for the long-term sustainability for the Margalla Wildlife Rescue Center. While the partnership is now at an end, Second Chance Wildlife is incredibly proud to have led the community effort in supporting an important mission.

As we conclude this partnership, we carry forward valuable insights that will shape our future endeavors.”
Second Chance Wildlife will continue its mission to actively discourage illegal wildlife trade and educate the public on the crime’s economic and environmental impact. They are also committed to engaging wildlife rescue centers across Pakistan and utilizing their experience and network to ensure Pakistan has access to most recent research and best practices from across the world.
